MÄRKNING & INLÄMNING AV PRODUKTER

Varje tävlingsprodukt ska lämnas in i ett exemplar för juryn att bedöma.

Hela produkter ska lämnas in *) undantag för stora ostar och stora charkuteriprodukter se nedan. Burkar respektive flaskor ska vara fulla och oöppnade. Om produkterna är mycket små eller få måste flera lämnas in för att bedömning ska kunna ske. Jurygruppen består av fyra personer som behöver ett ordentligt smakprov var.

*) För ostar gäller följande:

Ostar 2–4 kg – en halv ost lämnas in (blir 1–2 kg att bedöma)
Ostar över 4 kg – en kvarts ost lämnas in (blir >1kg att bedöma)

*) För stora charkprodukter gäller följande:

För stora charkprodukter kring ca 2 kg, t ex hela skinkor eller stora korvar lämnas en hel produkt in. För ännu större produkter kan en bit på dryga 2 kg lämnas in. Biten behöver då omfatta både mitten av produktens kärna och en ände med ytan däremellan intakt för en rättvisande bedömning. För lufttorkat kött på ben krävs att en hel produkt lämnas in för rättvisande bedömning.

Produkter som lämnas in till tävlingen får inte bära något märke, stansning eller annan indikation på vem som är producent. Ett exemplar av produktens försäljningsetikett med ingrediensförteckning ska medfölja tävlingsprodukten. Lägg förslagsvis originaletiketten med ingrediensförteckning, namn på produkt och producent samt eventuell branschspecifik information löst tillsammans med produkten i en plastpåse märkt med tävlingsklass. 

Observera att bekräftelse på deltagande måste åtfölja produkten vid inlämningen. Vi tar inte emot oanmälda produkter på plats. Kontakta tävlingsledningen, i god tid, vid frågor som rör inlämningen av produkter.

Produkterna bedöms i det skick de anländer. Ingen utlämning av provsmakade produkter kommer att ske, Eldrimner förfogar över dessa efter bedömningen.

Produkter kan även skickas i förväg med bud, post eller speditionsföretag med leverans till Stora Skuggans Värdshus under 24–31 augusti. Försändelserna måste skickas så att de körs ut till adressen nedan (under kontorstid kl. 8.00–16.00). Tävlingsledningen har inte möjlighet att hämta ut paket på utlämningsställen. Var noga med att tydligt märka kylvaror. Tänk på att vara ute i god tid och meddela tävlingsledningen med e-post om du skickar produkter. Leveransadress:

Viktigt: Märk försändelser som innehåller kylvaror tydligt med ”KYLA”.

Produkter som anländer för sent bedöms inte i tävlingen. Kontakta tävlingsledningen i förväg om tiderna för inlämning inte fungerar för dig.

Tänk också på möjligheten att hjälpas åt med transport av produkter tävlingsdeltagare emellan. Lista över deltagare finns HÄR. Där kan du se om någon annan från din region ska vara med i tävlingen.

LABELLING & SUBMISSION OF PRODUCTS

One sample of each registered product should be submitted for the jury to judge. The product must be labelled with the class it is participating in.

Whole products must be submitted, *) except for large cheeses and large charcuterie products see below. Jars and bottles must be full and unopened. If the products are very small or few, more than one must be submitted for assessment. The jury consists of four people who each need a proper sample of the product.

*) For cheeses the following applies:
Cheeses 2–4 kg – half a cheese is submitted (will be 1–2 kg to judge)
Cheeses over 4kg – a quarter cheese is submitted (will be >1 kg to judge)

*) For large charcuterie products the following applies:

For large charcuterie products about 2 kg, e.g. whole hams or large sausages, one whole product is submitted. 

For even larger products, a piece of more than 2 kg can be submitted. The piece needs to include both the centre of the core and one end of the product with the surface intact in between for a fair assessment. For air-dried meat on the bone, a whole product must be submitted for a fair assessment.

Products submitted to the competition must not have any mark, stamp or other indication of the identity of the producer. A copy of the product's sales label with the list of ingredients must accompany the competition product. We suggest that the original label with list of ingredients, name of product and producer and any industry-specific information be placed loosely with the product in a plastic bag labelled with the competition class. Please note that the confirmation of participation must accompany the product upon submission.

We do not accept unannounced products on site. Please contact Eldrimner, well in advance, if you have any questions regarding the submission of products.

Products will be judged in the condition they arrive.

Products can also be sent in advance by carrier, post or delivery firm directly to the site during the week previous to the competition. Shipments must be sent so that they are delivered to the specified address (during office hours 8.00–16.00). Parcels must be delivered to the door; they cannot be picked up at collection points. Consider the possibility for joint solutions and coordinating the transport of your products to the competition together with other contestants from your country or region. A list of participating companies is published HERE. 

JURYBEDÖMNINGAR

Varje jurygrupp består av en branschkunnig juryordförande samt ytterligare tre medlemmar. Jurygruppernas medlemmar varierar från år till år och består av såväl mathantverksexperter som lekmän. 

Juryn bedömer tävlingsprodukterna utifrån kriterier anpassade för varje klass. I huvudsak bedöms utseende, konsistens, doft och smak. 

Vid bedömningen poängsätts varje produkt med upp till maximalt 20 poäng. Guld-, silver- och bronsmedalj delas ut enligt fastställd poängskala.

Den produkt med högst poäng i respektive klass tilldelas utmärkelsen Best in class. Smakpoängen värderas högre än andra kriterier när två produkter hamnar på samma poäng.

JURY ASSESSMENTS

Each jury group consists of one expert chairperson and three additional jury members. Jury members can include both food craft experts and non-professional food enthusiasts. 

The jury judges the competing products according to criteria tailored to each class. The main criteria are appearance, texture, aroma and taste. 

At the judging each product is scored with up to a maximum of 20 points. Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded according to an established point scale. The product with the highest score in each class is awarded the Best in class. The taste score is valued higher than other criteria when two products score the same.

The jury's decision cannot be appealed.

VINNARE & PRISUTDELNING

Vinnaren i varje klass "best-in-class" tilldelas medalj och diplom samt etiketter utifrån poängnivå. Guld-, silver-, och bronsvinnare utses utifrån en fast skala. Dessa tilldelas diplom och klisteretiketter att fästa på produkten. Pristagare får även tillgång till etiketterna digitalt för användning vid marknadsföring av produkterna.

Prisutdelning hålls på Terra Madre Nordic-scenen vid Stora Skuggan fredag 2 september kl. 18. 

Alla medaljörer tilldelas guld-, silver- eller bronsklistermärken att fästa på sina produkter samt diplom. Klistermärkena kommer att finnas för uthämtning direkt efter prisutdelningen i tävlingstältet vid Stora Skuggan fram till kl. 19.30. Under lördagen kan etiketterna hämtas ut i informationstältet.

Diplom skickas ut med post veckan efter tävlingen. Är du inte på plats skickas även klistermärkena ut med post.

Medaljörer får även tillgång till digitala klistermärken direkt efter prisutdelningen, de kan laddas ned via Eldrimners hemsida efter tävlingen.

WINNERS & AWARDS CEREMONY

The top product of each class will receive a medal, diploma and labels accordning to score. Gold-, silver-, and bronze prize winners are appointed according to a fixed scale. They will receive a diploma and gold, silver and bronze labels respectively. The winners will also receive a digital image of the labels to be used in the marketing of their products.

The award ceremony will be held at Stora Skuggan on September 2 at 18.00.

All medallists get gold, silver or bronze stickers to attach to their products, as well as diplomas. The stickers will be available for collection immediately after the award ceremony in the competition tent at Stora Skuggan until 19.30. On Saturday September 3rd, the labels can be picked up in the information tent.

Diplomas are sent out by post the week after the competition. If you are not at the event, the stickers will also be sent out by mail.

Medallists get access to digital stickers immediately after the award ceremony, they can be downloaded from Eldrimner’s website after the competition.

BEDÖMNINGSRESULTAT

Resultatlista med medaljörerna i varje klass publiceras på Eldrimners hemsida och Facebook direkt efter prisutdelningen. Poäng och skriftligt omdöme för varje enskild produkt som tävlat skickas ut med e-post veckan efter tävlingen.

RESULTS

The list of results with the medallists in each class is published on Eldrimner's website and Facebook immediately after the award ceremony. Scores and written judgment for each individual product that competed will be sent out by email the week after the competition.

WEBBINARIET "SÅ BEDÖMDES PRODUKTERNA"

Under 12–16 september hålls branschvisa webbinarier där juryordförande deltar och berättar om bedömningen i varje klass. Under webbinariet får du som producent ett tillfälle att få återkoppling och ställa frågor kring dina produkter. Information om tid och länk till webbinariet skickas ut med e-post 25 augusti. Detta är ett utmärkt tillfälle att få reda på mer om hur juryn arbetat, hur tankegångarna gått och vad som gjort att vinnarprodukterna vann. 

THE WEBINAR "HOW THE PRODUCTS WERE JUDGED"

During September 12–16 feedback webinars are held where the jury expert presents how the products were judged in each class. During the webinar, you as a producer have the opportunity to get feedback and ask questions about your products. Information about time and link to the webinar will be sent out by email on August 25th. This is a great opportunity to find out more about how the jury worked, and what made the winning products win.
